The word documentary was first "documented" by the French in the 1900s. They used this word as reference to any non-fiction film such as instructional videos. Fact or Fiction?
There was a time Michael Moore's face was plastered over posters of documentary films. Remember that? Some said that he made up almost half of the facts in "Bowling For Columbine" and "Farenheit 9-11." It just goes to show that documentaries are made to be extrememly biased. Some events aren't in chronology! So it is up for the viewer to decide what is fact or fiction.
