Now that we are finally finished with the holiday season, you may be surprised at how many great movies are going to be released in January. A lot of the summer hits that you have been waiting for, in fact, are going to be released over the next several weeks. Next Tuesday, January 08, 2008, there are four notable releases to keep your eyes open for.
The most notable of next week’s releases is the remake of the 1957 film 3:10 to Yuma. This high quality remake stars Christian Bale and Russell Crowe. If you love Westerns then you will love this film. It stays true to the original story and still adds an extra 30 minutes of footage.
Other releases that are planned for January 08, 2008 include Dragon Wars, Sunshine and the Director’s Cut of Zodiac. Dragon Wars, as the name suggests, is about a mythical dragon that pillages the city of Los Angeles. Sunshine is a science fiction flick that is based on a story about a world that has frozen over.
If you are looking for a laugh, then the releases for January 15, 2008 are going to tickle your funny bone. First out is Good Luck Chuck, a romantic comedy starring Jessica Alba and Dane Cook. If you are looking for more of a guy comedy then look no further than Mr. Woodcock starring Billy Bob Thorton, Susan Surandon and Sean Williams.
