If you were a fan of “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” then you will love the upcoming theatrical release of “Fool’s Gold.” This film reunites Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey as a romantic duo in an action adventure/treasure hunting extravaganza.
”Fool’s Gold,” which is scheduled to be released in theaters the weekend of February 8, 2008, follows a married treasure hunter whose relationship with his wife is on the rocks as he spends the majority of his time on his boat aptly named “Booty Call.” Things heat up as he find clues to the location of the 1715 lost treasure “the Queen’s Dowry” which was rumored to contain about 40 chests of exotic riches including jewels, gold an silver. The plot thickens when this treasure hunters wife takes a job with another treasure hunter, and his rival for the treasure.
Hudson and McConaughey make a great team, and I am glad to see them reunited for another film. For the women out their, I have seen behind the scenes look of the filming of this movie and you will be happy to learn that McConaughey will spend a great deal of the time shirtless. For the men out there, Hudson will also spend a great deal of the time in beach wear, so this film will make a great date movie for February and an even better Valentine’s Day date movie.
