Today is the busiest shopping day of the year. If you attending the early morning sales planned for today and have survived I congratulate you. For those of you who opted to stay home don’t worry. There are plenty of great deals still to be had this holiday shopping season. Stores are worried about their sales volume and most will be marking down their merchandise earlier than they normally do to encourage shoppers to spend more money.
Generally I like to shop online when I can for special Christmas gifts. Newly released movie posters in particular are generally easier to find online than they are in department stores. Movie posters make great gifts for both kids and adults. When I give movie posters to kids as a gift I generally leave them rolled up. Kids then have the option of pinning them up anywhere that they want in their room, and they can move the poster when they want, usually without the help of an adult.
On the other hand, when I give an extra special movie poster to a teen or an adult, I generally like to frame the movie poster and mat it. There are a lot of ways you can frame a movie posters. You can buy a simple poster frame for about $20 at a department store, or you can design a special frame and mat system for your movie poster gift. The more elaborate and fancy your framing is, the more money you will need to invest. However, if you want to create an extra special gift then the extra time and money is well worth it.
