Sex and the City Hits the Big Screen
The wait is over. Tonight we all get to find out if Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big are getting married or not. While last week actors dominated the big screen, this week movie star posters of actresses dominate the movie theaters in the U.S. Sex and the City: The Movie is the biggest released for this week. It is a comedy that will pick up the storyline from the series, and hopefully let us all know what our favorite provocative characters have been up to since we last saw them on the small screen. All of the original cast members are returning to reprise their star rolls, so get ready to see Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall, Chris Noth and Kristin Davis. New to the cast is Jennifer Hudson who will be playing Carrie’s assistant.
If you are not into Sex and the City then consider the Foot Fist Way. This comedy was the jewel of the 2006 Sundance festival. It is about a macho Tae Kwon Do instructor whose life falls apart when he learns that his wife has betrayed him. It sounds like a predictable, but fun film. It stars Danny R. McBride, Mary Jane Bostic and Ben Best. This comedy was written by Ben Best and Jody Hill and was directed by Jody Hill.
If you are looking for a beautiful accent piece to your home’s décor consider picking up mini movie posters based on the film Savage Grace starring Julianne Moore, Eddie Redmayne and Stephen Dillane. It is based on the story of two people from different sides of the track who get married. Unfortunately they struggle with their differences throughout their marriage and the birth and development of their only son seems to only push them farther apart as opposed to bringing them together.
