This week’s movie releases are a bit dark, but enjoyable none the less. The most exciting release this week is the Chronicles of Narnia 2. This film continues the storyline from the first movie, however, as the kids return to Narnia one year later in their time, they quickly learn that in Narnia about 1300 years have past. Besides not having their old friends to lean on, they learn that the kingdom has been taken over by an evil and ruthless ruler called King Miraz. The family film posters for this movie are breathtaking, as many of the Disney movie posters are. The actors that star in this film include: Georgie Henley, Anna Popplewell, Warwick Daivs, Skandar Keynes, Ben Barnes and William Mosely.
If you enjoy drama movie posters then you will want to look at the poster for Sangre de Mi Sangre. This film won the Grand Jury Prize at last year’s Sundance Film Festival. It is a drama that is about family, stolen indentities and mortality. It stars Jesus Ochoa, Jorge Adrian Espindola, Armando Hernandez and Paola Mendes. It is an IFC Film, that was written and directed by Christopher Zalla and produced by Per Melita Ben Odell. It has a running time of one hour and 50 minutes.
Your third movie option this week is Reprise. It is a coming of age film that is based on the lives of twenty something characters. It takes place in multiple international locations like Paris and Oslo. This drama has a running time of one hour and 45 minutes. It was directed by Joachim Trier, released by Miramax and it stars: Anders Danielsen Lie and Viktoria Winge.
