July 18th Movie Releases Offer Variety
Next week’s movie releases really run the spectrum for movie genres. Your first option is a comic book adaptation that features the “Dark Knight” Batman. The Dark Knight is the sequel to Batman Begins, which was released a number of years ago. This film covers the backstory for the Joker, played by Heath Ledger, as one of his last movies this will be an important film to see. Other people starring in this action/adventure/drama include Christian Bale, Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Morgan Freeman. This film was directed by Christopher Nolan and will be released by Warner Brothers. If you are a collector of all things Batman then this is definitely a film that you will want to get door movie posters for.
The second option that you have for the July 18th weekend is Mamma Mia! Yes, this is another Broadway musical that has been turned into a movie. However, this one looks like a lot of fun. Its musical movie posters are bright, cheerful and fun, and feature the movie’s star Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgard and Julie Walter. Quite a lineup! If you aren’t familiar with the storyline it goes like this, a free spirited young woman is about to get married and wants to have her father there, however, she doesn’t know who her father is. After reading her mother’s diary she finds out that there are three possibilities.
If you are looking for a family film then Space Chimps may be what you are looking for. This CGI feature has several great college posters that you can choose from for your collection. The storyline for this film is that space chimps are sent out into space to retrieved a missing Space Agency probe. This film features the voice talents of Stanley Tucci, Jeff Daniels and Cheryl Hines, and will be released by 20th Century Fox.
