Last week we talked about how to throw a slasher film themed Halloween party, this week I’d like to talk about how to throw an animal attack themed Halloween party.
One of my favorite types of scary movie is the animal attack film. Films like Jaws, Deep Blue Sea, Grizzly, Night of the Grizzly and Snakes on a Plane, all work well for the theme of a Halloween party. If you would like to have a unique Halloween party this year, consider this party theme.
To start with you will need to find movie posters from your favorite animal attack films. You can select both theatrical films and documentary films. Place these large posters around your party space to set the mood.
Next select food and drinks to set below each poster that relates to the theme of that movie. For example, under the movie poster for Jaws you can place fish kabobs or slices of rump roast, after all that is what they used for bait in the first Jaws. For the drink consider making a drinkable chum punch. For this you will need a dark red fruit drink and pieces of fruit cut up to look like fish.
For games you can play name that animal sound or animal attack movie trivia games. Have fun when coming up with games and activities, and don’t be afraid to utilize the ever popular ever campy pun. You will want to come up with three or four games for your party goers to play.
