One of the best times of year is the fall. This is when the transition between action adventure and hard core blockbuster movie posters give way to more charming and fun family film posters. This year is no exception.
What I like the most about family film posters is that they are so creative and colorful. They play off of our earliest memories that are painted with primary colors and softer palettes. They also include characters that are cute, cuddly and fun, even the bad guys seem to have their own appeal and charm.
Every year I wait for the new Disney fall or holiday animated feature to be released. This year it is going to be the Disney rendition of the Frog Prince. What is great about this film is that they finally are using an African American princess.
If you are a collector of Disney movie posters then this is definitely the year to add to your collection. There are several great Disney films being re-released in 2009 -2010 and several great new films that you will not want to miss.
