The Definition of A Cult No, the cult I am speaking of is not related with Satanic traditions or ideas. But I am speaking of a cult in relation to movies. A cult movie is a type of unknown movie that is usually produced by small production companies with unknown actors. And amazingly enough, some movies (and their cult movie posters) succeed beyond expectation! They are associated with classic horror films and independent horror films.
